Plein air painting weekend retreat!
Mark you calendars for May 30 - June 1. The plein air group is headed to the
Parker Ranch for a great weekend of plein air painting. We can come up Friday evening or Saturday morning, it's up to you. I am going to arrive on Friday so I can start painting right away. This is a wonderful lodge in Clayton Ga. I have been talking with the owner Becky and she is giving us 20% off the rooms, covering the taxes, and feeding us breakfast as well! Contact Becky directly to reserve your room.

Before heading to town for dinner on Saturday, let's have a wine and cheese happy hour in the lodge. After breakfast on Sunday, we can head out for a little more painting before heading home, or just relax, it's all up to you. This is not a class just a great opportunity to paint with friends and make new ones.

A little about the lodge. It's a laid back lodge built in the 1907 as an Atlanta family summer home in Clayton GA. It has 6 rooms all with private baths. Some room are double occupancy - two beds - so you can share a room if you'd like. Just let Becky know when you call or email. Clayton is about 1hour and 45 minutes from Atlanta and should be a pretty easy drive. The Ranch is about one mile from downtown Clayton with good restaurants and lots of charm.
Happy Painting!
